I am a stay-at-home dad (SAHD), which means I spend most of my time with my two sons, one is currently five-years-old, while the other is just two. I love them with all my heart but struggle with the daily machinations of taking care of them. It’s not easy, and frequently frustrating but also incredibly satisfying. I call myself “guerilla dad” because in many ways I feel like a rebel in a war against the monotony, insanity, and irrelevance staying home with your kid(s) can make you feel. These are dispatches from the frontline.

    Hey man,
Is there any kind of dad group in Charlottesville? I was thinking to start up a google group if nothing already exists? Thanks

    hey again,
Created a stay-at-home dads google group as I did not find one that already existed. The address is Cvilledads@googlegroups.com
Would you mind passing the information on to any stay-at-home/primary caretaker dads you know. Hoping the group will get some traffic and become useful for us. Thanks.

I found the google group tough to find, I figured I’d try group spaces: http://groupspaces.com/CvilleStayatHomeDads/

Feel free to spread the word and join too.

Hey. I sent out a tweet and was recently contacted by someone looking for exactly what you’re trying to get going so I gave them the URL. Hope this helps. J
